Alison Mooney joined the ETI team as the Development Coordinator in September 2016, and she is currently working with the Development Director to research and apply for new grants so that ETI can expand its capabilities as an organization. She recently obtained her Masters degree in International Relations from the University of Surrey in the UK — with a focus on international intervention — and graduated with a B.A. in Global Affairs from the University of Colorado. She taught English in South Korea for 3 years, where she learned to appreciate the importance of education and helping children reach their true potential. Because of this, she felt drawn to ETI’s mission and wanted to participate in helping to empower visually impaired children so that they can achieve their potential in the same way sighted children can.
