AUB MBA Intern
Mohamad Alameh is a mechanical engineer and a full-time MBA student at the American University of Beirut. He worked in a construction field in Lebanon and as a mechatronics research assistant at North Dakota State University under the NESA Department of State Program.
Later on, Mohamad found a passion when working with non-governmental organizations and social enterprises and decided to join Teach For Lebanon. During his fellowship at TFL, Mohamad introduced modern educational strategies and engineering activities for under-privileged children at Sidon Orphan Welfare Organization. This effort garnered coverage many international and local news outlets such as the Huffington Post and L’Orient Le Jour. Mohamad was then fortunate to be sponsored by the U.S. Embassy in Lebanon to create a series of workshops titled “Conflict Resolution in Education”.
Having completed his two year fellowship, Mohamad plans to pursue a career at an organization that serves his community.
“A lot of work awaits us at Empowerment Through Integration,” Mohamad claims. “Yet, I have no doubt that the results will only be as expected."
