Ahmad Salem Halawi
Program Manager (Beirut)
Ahmad Salem Halawi is currently the ETI Program Manager in Beirut. As such, Ahmad manages the Empowerment Program dedicated for blind and visually impaired youth, providing the building blocks needed for the program to function and working alongside volunteers and trainers to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of each program (volunteer training, Life Skills, Camp Rafiqi, and other social projects).
Ahmad has a Bachelors Degree in Business with an emphasis in Information Technology Management from the Lebanese American University in Beirut. He has gained professional experience in Project Management as he coordinated the LAU Youth Sports Academy, and managed venues and operations during the NBA Jr project in Lebanon in 2019. He has also been part of the Beirut Marathon Association as member of the Start-line management team since 2018.
During his summers, he was a coordinator at camps for children in various locations (Sacre-Coeur Gemmeyze and Hoops Club). In 2017, he was selected to attend the FISU volunteer’s leaders academy in Kazan, Russia which has provided him further expertise in managing volunteers in large-scale events and projects.
