Originally from Syria, Alaa Aljarrash came to Lebanon due to the war. He studies Medical Social Assistance at Al Jinan University.
Volunteering at Camp Rafiqi in 2016 was the most unforgettable experiences for him, and playing a role in the lives of youth with visual impairment was the most amazing thing that happened to him. One of the most emotional moments for him was when one of the girls with visual impairment came to him and said, "I will never forget what I have learnt from you and whenever I grab the cane, I will remember you."
He is thankful for all the loving and supportive people he has in his life. He is also grateful for the opportunity to work with ETI to create change, and that ETI continues to grow.
