Partner & Community Relations Manager


Empowerment Through Integration (ETI) is a nonprofit committed to developing a more inclusive society through empowering youth with disabilities and transforming social and cultural stigmas against disability globally. ETI is committed to achieving inclusion for all people through groundbreaking initiatives that challenge stereotypes about people with disabilities.

ETI was founded by Ms. Sara Minkara, a Lebanese-American Muslim woman who lost her sight at age seven. Sara has transformed her unwavering passion for empowering persons with disabilities into innovative, empowering programs. ETI’s programs support individuals with disabilities to become catalysts for change in their own lives, their communities, and beyond.


Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Partner & Community Relations Manager will proactively engage and respond to growing interest in ETI’s unique integration programs. ETI’s integration programs, including “in the Dark,” are fully customizable and designed to address the diversity and inclusion needs and goals of clients across sectors.

The Partner & Community Relations Manager will promote ETI’s programs to universities, corporations, public institutions, and other organizations and communities seeking to learn the values of inclusion. The Partner & Community Relations Manager will also position and leverage interest in Ms. Minkara as a powerful public speaker, and disability and inclusion advocate, to ensure her message reaches key audiences capable of translating her powerful message into action.


You are an outward facing, strategic and results-oriented professional who is genuinely comfortable and effective in soliciting for new business partnerships. You have demonstrated this ability by building strong and sustainable relationships in previous positions.


  • In partnership with ETI’s leadership, develop and implement a strategic engagement plan for increasing delivery of ETI’s program offerings across sectors.

  • Identify potential high-volume users of ETI’s education and facilitation programs.

  • Cultivate relationships with universities and colleges for the purpose of promoting the value of ETI’s educational programs.

  • Work closely with the COO and other staff members as needed to stay up to date on expanded program offerings and curriculum development

  • Partner with development and communications staff members to develop a communications plan to increase engagement with ETI’s program offerings.

  • Attend relevant events to network and present ETI’s programs to target audiences and potential clients.

  • Must be available to travel as needed throughout the United States and Europe.


  • Commitment to ETI’s philanthropic vision and mission

  • Proven sales/business development experience, and experience and/or willingness to carry quotes in excess of $400K.

  • Experience soliciting for facilitations, trainings and workshop based products

  • Experience engaging with a variety of sectors

  • Have demonstrated pipeline building capabilities using cold email and cold outbound calling

  • Growth minded and has the fortitude and attention to detail to be successful

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, and organizational skills

  • Extreme self-starter, problem solver and independent thinker

  • Motivated professional with interest and knowledge

  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize

  • Ability to travel at least 30% time

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook)

  • Experience in building business to business relationships and/or strategic partnerships

  • Experience with Salesforce

  • MBA degree in business, marketing, economics or related field is preferred

  • Nonprofit experience preferred
