Empowerment Through Integration (ETI) is a 501(c)3 certified non-profit that is changing the narrative surrounding disability both for blind and sighted youth. We create integrated, supportive spaces with life skills training, emotional support, and community service opportunities. Through these integrated spaces, they are able to break down internal and external barriers surrounding views on ability in order to create positive change in society. ETI is currently seeking one professional to act as ETI Program Manager in Beirut between April 1st and December 31st 2019.
The Program Manager will be responsible for managing all logistics associated with the preparation for, execution, completion and followup of ETI’s Empowerment Programs. Individuals who will be considered for this position need to be organized, goal-oriented, efficient, and responsible for their own transportation.
Organize all programs’ activities and related logistics in accordance with Empowerment Programs’ (EPs) objectives;
Monitor program budget and prepare expense reports associated with programs for financial reporting. Develop an operating plan with ETI Country Director.
Identify and build a relationship with local ETI sponsors;
Administer required forms to all stakeholders and maintain all program databases updated;
Recruit participants, families and volunteers to participate in EPs and maintain adequate communication with all stakeholders regarding program structure, logistics and changes;
Lead volunteer training sessions during volunteer capacity training program;
Collaborate with Monitoring & Evaluation consultant and implement (M&E) methods for program assessment;
Participate in ETI Lebanon team meetings (phone calls, Skype, etc) weekly & report to Country Director.
Type of position: Full-time (40 hours/week)
Monthly Salary: USD $1500.00/month

Probation period: 3 months from start date
Start day: April 1st, 2019
University Degree preferably in Business Administration & Management, Administration, Economics, Education, Social Work or related field.
At least 2 years of experience as program coordinator or manager in projects or programs implemented by NGOs (national or international), institutions (private or public) and/or UN entities (e.g. UNICEF, UNRWA, UNHCR) in the field of disabilities and inclusion;
Experience in program and data management, management of volunteers, production of reports, designing of tools and strategies for program monitoring and implementation;
Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Fluency in written and spoken Arabic and English (mandatory).
The Program Manager will need to be comfortable working as part of a team, working independently and virtually from multiple locations and formal and informal work spaces, attend meetings in multiple locations in Lebanon (including, but not limited to Great Beirut area, Tripoli, Bekka) and participate in various projects related to training and advocacy about social issues related to blindness in different contexts.
Professionals with proven background in humanitarian and/or UN initiatives and/or related fields, and experience in programs for blind youth are strongly preferred.
