Art Curriculum Writer
Margaret Polk graduated from the University of Cambridge with a Bachelor’s degree in History, and is currently attending Harvard as a visiting scholar on the Choate Memorial Fellowship. Academically, she has had the opportunity to study the history of secondary education in the UK, and the history of the Middle East; including Lebanon.
Margaret’s practical interest in education stems from previous work at an educational charity in Hong Kong, where she planned and executed summer camps at various disadvantaged schools in the city, and in Macau. She is specifically interested in international education and tackling the barriers associated with minority students, and particularly those associated with young girls and women. These experiences inspired her to join ETI in December 2016 as a curriculum writer, where she oversees the arts program.
