Marie Trudelle received her undergraduate degree in Education from Westmont College in 2014 and her graduate degree in Orientation and Mobility (O&M) from San Francisco State University in 2015.

Her interest in teaching the blind and visually impaired commenced after working at an orphanage for disabled youth in China during the summer of 2011 and 2014. Marie also spent time studying history, psychology, and religion in the Middle East region in the spring of 2013. 

Marie started her professional career with an internship at the Western Blind Rehabilitation Clinic in Menlo Park. There, she taught Orientation and Mobility to visually impaired Veterans. She also served as an Orientation and Mobility intern for deaf blind youth at the San Mateo County Office of Education. Upon earning her Master’s degree, Marie accepted a position at the California School for the Blind.

Marie plans to continue teaching Orientation and Mobility as well as Adapted Athletics to blind and visually impaired individuals in the US and Internationally.
