Nadine Abi Akar
Nadine Abi Akar is an educational specialist with a focus on child development and psychology. While pursuing her graduate studies at Harvard Graduate School of Education (HGSE) and her undergraduate studies at the American University of Beirut (AUB), Nadine has extensively delved into youth-related projects, courses and research that focused on early childhood and K-12 education as well as childhood wellbeing, both in practice and policy. Nadine has also been published in the Journal of Experimental Psychology for her work from her time at Harvard's Affective Neuroscience and Development Lab, which studied decision-making behaviors of adolescents.
Nadine is passionate about improving quality and equality in education for all Arab Youth—an education that caters to all needs of learners that will best prepare all youth for the diversifying work and social environments of the region’s future. Nadine has also immersed herself in the entrepreneurial space, and was part of a team that founded and tested an education, online teaching tool made for learning whose needs are not met in the educational systems today. Nadine is Lebanese, born and raised in Saudi Arabia.
